Buy Fat Yoga Pants!
I used to only wear black yoga pants as I didn't want to stand out or bring any attention to my (ample) thighs! But that situation is long gone thanks to my strong love of fashion, bright yoga pants and the idea that if you don't like my fat legs in Lycra, you can look away, I no longer care!
So, with that in mind here is my round up of great pants (not exhaustive in any way) for different budgets. Local and overseas brands are included here.
Australian hosiery brand Sonsee Woman has now released Sonsee Active which I have test run (and are in my book Fat Yoga!) They are amazing quality and fabrics. They aren't cheap, buy I have washed them extensively and they still look brand new. Highly recommenced and also available in Autograph. True to size for me.
Goes up to a US size 30 and will ship Internationally AND for free for orders over $125
PLUS as a special deal for Aussie Fat Yogi's there is a 15% off discount code FatYogaAU Fabulous prints! Love them!
Active Truth is an Australian activewear label which I have recently tested out. I have the basic black and I love them. They are very comfy, high waisted, didn't move in a 2 hour photo-shoot I did recently and lovely quality. I sized up as I found the XL (18) too tight for me (although they are compression style so you may like that). The 2X (20-22) was perfect. That is the largest for now which is a drawback but stay tuned for 3X on the way!
Another local brand! I haven't test driven these yet but the designer is a Fat Yoga member and she is just lovely as are the prints. These Lycra pants go up to a fabulous 6X (36-40) so are fantastic in terms of range. They are funky and original! For me they are a looser fit legging, but they are not a yoga pant as such so if you want a tight fit size down.
Best and Less
So I buy these online and they go up to size 26 Australian. The Elite brand is fantastic for basics. They are often on sale and start at $15 a pair. My best ever black cotton yoga pants come from here. They wear well and fit well (high waist). Definitely the value pick.
You can also try Target Plus and Kmart Plus but it can be hit and miss!
