Miss Contrary (Bec!) is an intuitive and body positive dance and yoga instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience. Specialising in helping women feel more connected to their bodies and more comfortable with them, Bec delivers a fun but meaningful class experience. In addition to this, Bec gives personal assistance and feedback to class participants and helps them to further understand their movements.
She is also highly skilled in movement mechanics and will easily offer variations and alternatives to cater for specific conditions you may have. Whether you're flicking your hair and shaking your booty or sinking into a spiritual dance experience from within, Bec's class will leave you feeling more confident and connected to yourself.
This class will not have a floor component (no knee work!)
In our 2 hours we will dive into 2 styles: Belly Dance to Contemporary music and 'Divas"
Connect with yourself and your dance group and feel a sense of 'tribe' in class. This belly dance class has modern, traditional and all the variations in between. Learn dance moves using all areas of your body, even the ones that might have been forgotten! Smooth and slinky or fast and shaky, you'll get to use more parts of your body than you could ever imagine!
Build your sass (or find it!) in this sexy dance class! Suitable for beginners and more experienced alike, this is a dance class to build confidence and bring some spark back into your life. Using carefully selected music by pop divas, be prepared to wind your waistline, flick your hair and strut like a diva!
A Plus Size Chiffon Belt will be included in the cost of the workshop so you can really rock it if you would like!
